Due to innovation and product diversification of Nokia products is enough demand and attracts many people. The future of Nokia Maemo-based has just started with marketed Nokia N900. According to the CEO of Nokia, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, the handset has been waiting for is now on the way to the pre-orders.

In a Nokia official blog also expressed hope that the next Maemo 5 devices can also be marketed on the plains of Europe, the Middle East, Russia and North America. However, it will not be compatible with new 3G SIM card from 3 in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Danish and Austrian to pound the software update some time later in the year 2009.

We’ll soon see whether the new generation of Nokia smartphones will be sufficient to produce the kind of public market as the ratio of high margin Nokia need to top-level product portfolio or whether this is just the first tentative steps with a potentially new platform becomes unstable. About success, it seems we need not doubt, but if you see the mobile market competition, it is probably going to be a big struggle to continue to be the leader in front of customers.

Dell that has a big name in the computer industry began to enter the mobile phone market, through China. Dell mobile phone product namely Dell Mini 3i starting sold in the online mobile store owned by China Mobile.

Specifications of the Dell Mini 3i are quite different from the other smartphone brands. The first view is its operating system (OS). Dell Mini 3i using OS created by the China Mobile OMS (Open Mobile System), taking the base of the Android system, but use TD-SCDMA which is a 3G Brew version of China.

The first product from Dell does not have the capacity of 3G and use 2G GSM only, and does not has Wi-Fi or WAPI (Wi-Fi version of China). But the Bluetooth feature is already in this Dell Mini 3i. The screen size of Dell Mini 3i is a 3.5 inch touch screen capacitive with resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. A unique from Dell smartphone is there is no the key at the front, and it seems Dell Mini 3i take the basic idea of the iPhone.

Dell Mini 3i is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera and LED Flash for night mode. There is also microSD slot and miniUSB port to connect the phone with a PC computer. But what we can charge the battery through the miniUSB is still not known with clear information.

The specifications, Dell Mini 3i mobile phone is low-end categories, although the features have already built-in GPS. Questions about when Dell will release Dell Mini 3i outside China, to this day is still not known. Dell may be awaiting the results of sales in China first, before entering the world market. China Mobile has launched online store that has the applications supporting of DELL Mini 3i, and other applications for Nokia, Samsung and LG.

Name of Android, the incentive indeed be discussed. Open source operating system for smartphone from Google is indeed to attract us. But this time we are not discussed about one of the new features of Android. Except the issue which is reported that not only T-Mobile mobile phone classmates only, but Nokia also interested to use Android as the operating system. Is this true or just simply the issue?

With very hard, Nokia state that it is wrong. As we know the previous Nokia has a Symbian operating system and will continue forever to use the operating system such as at the present time. What happens if Nokia uses Android, and Symbian will be taken where? That is the consideration of the Nokia to continue to use existing resources.

Already spend a very long time to create Symbian, of course it will very be pitied if finally use other operating systems even though open source. Nokia still continues to develop its own open source operating system (Maemo), which the research was undertaken together with Intel. Using Android, as well use something new and become a matter of course that will bring a huge change on the Symbian, of course this is not expected at all by the Nokia.
