As companies that care about the environment, recently Samsung working with Sprint for mobile phone products that become a starting point for environmental awareness initiative. The latest product is Samsung Reclaim. And as we know, Samsung Reclaim mobile phone is made of materials which consist of 80% recycled materials. The charger also consumes 12 times less energy than the Energy Star standard needs. Thus, this phone is able to save in energy usage.

The chasing of Samsung Reclaim mobile phone is made of 40% bio plastic and packaging materials is made of 70% recycled materials. Samsung Reclaim is a slider mobile phone with QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera with video capture, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and microSD card support up to 32GB. In addition, it is also able to operate the OneClick user interfaces and has easy access to the eco-friendly products instruction.

The phone is sold at 50 USD and will be available on the market or Sprint outlet channel starting on today, August 16, 2009. With Samsung Reclaim, Sprint is planning to press the paper usage up to 30%. Thus, this activity is expected to help in raising customer awareness of the eco-friendly products and pressing the energy in their companies.
