Acer Demonstrated Android Netbook

Acer demonstrated his netbook ability that comes with the Android operating system. Product plans with Android will be present in 2010. Demo was done in Acer Workshop held at the Sheraton Senggigi, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, 15-17 December 2009. In the demo Android operating system used on the Acer Aspire One.

Acer plans to remove the product with the ability of Android in 2010. However, they could not give assurance that the product when the time will be present in Indonesia.

The Archos portable multimedia device manufacturer has launched the Internet Tablet with the Android operating system through Archos 5 product type. This new device is equipped with 8 GB – 64 GB flash memory and 160 GB hard drive and 500 GB as an option, 4.8-inch screen with VGA resolution 800 × 480 with a facility to 720p HD output.

Unfortunately Archos 5 does not support 3G connection but can provide a Bluetooth mobile phone use as a modem. There is GPS facility 3D mapping software as a product of the Blom 7-day trial.

Price Archos 5 with 8 GB of flash memory is 2.8 millions, 32 GB for $380, and 64 GB for $520. You still can add capacity with a microSD slot. For hard drive version, with 160 GB price is $420 and 500 GB is $490.

Android 1.6 Update is Available

Sophistication of Android operating system is already a lot to prove, though comparatively new in its class, but its development is not playing it’s been confirmed and guaranteed by the Google itself. So it’s no wonder so many manufacturers are vying to bundle their product with this operating system.

Now it has released Android 1.6 newest update specifically for Dev Phone 1. Although the presence of a target of 2.0 version does not mean that version 1.6 is not attractive for developers ogled in various parts of the world.

Unfortunately, there no mention in detail what the differences and advantages we can get from the latest generation of this Android 1.6. But of course these improvements will be eagerly awaited by developers so we will step that can feel how sophisticated of this operating system which is especially bundled in our mobile phone.

Nokia Uses Android on Smartphone?
